What does it really mean to live each moment fully with open hands, to love deeply and, at the same time, to be able to relinquish it all?

COMMON GROUND SPIRITUAL CENTER, an inclusive spiritual community in Tustin, California, has invited Dr. Betty Kovacs for an evening discussion about The Miracle of Death. Dr. Kovacs will also touch upon the subject of death from the perspective of Stephen Levine's book, Year to Live: How to Live This Year as Though it Were Your Last.

Within about three years Dr. Betty Kovács lost her mother, her only child, and her husband in three separate automobile accidents. To survive their absence from the physical world, she had to learn to hold the threads of life in one hand and the threads of death in the other. In this presentation she will speak about having to learn how to live in harmony between the worlds of life and death and how to weave them together into one dynamic, living fabric. She will share some of her family's precognitive dreams, visions, after-death communications and synchronistic events that surrounded the deaths in her family. In addition, she will discuss new scientific insights on the survival of consciousness as well as cultural limitations that we must confront as we embark on our journey into deeper orders of reality.

Our health and well-being require that we live our lives as consciously and joyfully as possible. Understanding the miracle of death will help us to live each moment fully and then let it go.

The fear of death limits our mind's ability to think, to perceive and to experience beyond the physical world. Kick the habit of living in one square inch of reality. Experiences of the mystery of death and new discoveries in science are allowing people all over the planet to embrace a new understanding of Death--and Life. Our survival depends on knowing for ourselves what the Mystics have been saying for centuries.

Dr. Kovacs has spent decades researching how the understanding of death has influenced the development of our consciousness. She will discuss new scientific insights into the survival of consciousness after death as well as the cultural limitations that we must confront as we embark on our journey into deeper orders of reality. However, this workshop will not be limited to the presentation of knowledge gained only from academic research. It will include the wisdom of personal experience: the extraordinary experiences of Dr. Kovacs' entire family surrounding multiple deaths.
