Jungian analyst (now retired), author, lecturer. Currently writing two books: The Dream of the Water and The Psychosis of War. Authored: The One Work: A Journey Towards the Self (Vincent Stuart 1961), The Birds Who Flew Beyond Time (Barefoot Books and Shambhala 1993). Co-authored with Jules Cashford, The Myth of the Goddess: Evolution of an Image (Penguin 1992); with Andrew Harvey, The Mystic Vision (Godsfield Press & HarperSan Francisco 1995) and The Divine Feminine (Godsfield Press & Conari 1996). The ground of all her work is a deep interest in the spiritual, mystical and artistic traditions of different cultures as well as the psychological causes of human suffering. Her website (annebaring.com) is devoted to the affirmation of a new vision of reality and the issues facing us at this crucial time of choice. She lives near Winchester, England.
